Welcome to Dethleffs Owners New & Old

Dethleffs Owners Club UK was created by Steve Sharpe in 2002 when Lowdhams persuaded Dethleffs to bring their Motorhomes and Caravans to the Earls Court Show. By 2005 a group of members had built up and Richard Olphin took the Club management forward. At the 2014, Factory Visit to Isny Chris & Wendy Thairs offered to hold the first ever Club Rally and this took place on the New Forest September 2015. We now try to organise a foreign rally every year.

By the end of 2018 Richard asked Chris to take over the Club , and with the assistance of Phil Hickman on the Technical Help side of things , the Club has moved on and 2019 was added to the name.

We currently offer a helpline Advice and Information service to Members for their Dethleffs including Eurostyle , ( Motorhomes and Caravans , despite no Caravans being directly imported since 2010). Since 2015 Sunlight have been a standalone company .

Also available to Members Only are discounts on annual Habitation and Water Ingress Warranty checks with a price deal with a number of UK Dethleffs Dealers .

We also have arrangements with Truma and Alde servicing, a Bedding Company , a Re- upholstery company, a led lamp company, shower tray repair company .

Plus Dethleffs hire for visiting New Zealand .

I must emphasise , All offers only available to members producing their current Membership cards.

We have maintained and built on our strong links with the Dethleffs Factory Management in Isny and as such Chris , Wendy, Phil & Jackie are present at the October NEC shows on the Dethleffs Stand in Hall 10 to meet and greet Members, help the Dethleffs staff where we can , particularly preparing the tea and coffee.

We have a very strong bond with the Finnish Owners Club following visits in 2017 and 2024. We hope some may visit us in the UK for our 20th Year celebrations in 2025.

We are still self funded not for profit organisation, run by the Members, for the Members. We have no direct funding from Dethleffs, BUT, we are the only UK Club / Group based organisation recognised and supported by the Dethleffs Company.

If you are contemplating owning a pre loved Dethleffs , then please make sure you inspect the Water Ingress Warranty Habitation checks for the first 6 years , are recorded in the Dethleffs Manual . Without them the resale value will be greatly affected. Not many NONE Dethleffs dealers know about the 6 year warranty .

If you do join our friendly Club , many have said its the best £15 they ever spent .
